If your Volummi slips, unfortunately the size is not right.
First, check the underside of your Volummi to make sure you have the right size. It will say either “size XS,” “size S,” or “size M” on your product.
It is also important to distribute the hair evenly over the entire outer ring, as shown in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Goa6BD8Xx5c
The hollow space in the middle should always remain free, as this is what creates the extra volume.
Once Volummi is in your hair, it is best not to “squeeze” it, as this will cause the hair to slip out of position again.
Volummi provides strong hold – but only if the size matches the total amount of hair.
If Volummi is too large, it will unfortunately slip out again, as the space between the two strips is then too large for the total amount of hair.
However, if Volummi is too small for the total amount of hair, it may also slip out, as the inner ring could collapse or slip away.
We currently have 3 sizes and can cover approx. 75% of hair thicknesses.
However, if you have a lot of hair or very thick hair (total circumference greater than in image 3), even size M may not be able to fit all of your hair through the opening. However, you can still create a beautiful half-up hairstyle with part of your hair.
If you have very little hair (total circumference less than in image 1), in rare cases even size XS may still be too large.
